Dear Tribe,

           Gene and Carole Walker have stepped up to the plate and would like to put on a Fly-in at Waverly, Tenn. October 10, 11, 12. Gene and Carole have never hosted a fly-in and as such would like to get a feel for what the Tribe members' wishes might be and a head count of how many are interested. This fly-in is going to happen and is not tentative.

           Waverly is about 40 miles west of Nashville, Tenn. and is nearby the Kentucky Lake complex on the Tenn. side. I am told that this is some beautiful country although I have not had an opportunity to visit this area before now. I am also told that October is the best time of year to visit. Dotty and I are looking forward to this chance to expand our knowledge of Tennessee.

           There is not enough time to publish this fly-in in the Flyer and so it will only appear here in Tribe e-mails and may appear in a thread on the Comanche Owner's Forum and may appear on ComanchePilot.com. Below find a list of Gene's initial list of potential activities and a tentative time line. Please take a look and let Gene know what you think and if you are interested in attending at com180@peoplestel.net. He is looking forward to hearing your opinions and making this enjoyable for all our SE Tribe members. All others wishing to come are invited as well. Look for further information as it develops.

We have planned for fly-in and now need to contact members to mail a packet on Lodging and try to determain how many would be interested.

The following is what we have planned

 OCT. 10 arrive in Waverly TN We will have greeters at airport and transportation.Rental cars will be at airport if needed choices

1 bed and breakfast Nolan house ( transportation furnished)

2 Imperial lodge

3 camping (transportation furnished)

Your school  on maintance in hanger at Waverly Airport time is up to you

12:00 Fish fry at White Oak community center furnished by Carole & I

Cat fish and all the trimmings anyone who needs another course let us know before  Oct.

I will try to have boat on Kentucky lake for rides to anyone interested.

Land Between the lakes will be open for tours Loretta Lynn Ranch tours

Breakfast Sunday morning at our house or at airport.

This is our first plan if we could see how many would be interested we will know how to plan
