Despite having to contend with the tail end of some lousy weather, four of our NE tribe members flew in to Jaffrey NH (KAFN) for food and ice cream.
Present were
Mark Pelletier N7488P
Dan Traynor N8787P
John Dunning N8962P
Malcom Willard N9237P
Kimball Farms is right next door to the field, and features burgers, seafood, and great ice cream. We had a nice lunch and good conversation. Everybody agreed that these kind of "low-overhead" flyins are a good thing, and we should try to have more of them. We talked about a number of ideas for other places that would be worth going for day trips, and will be trying to work in some more of themduring the summer and fall. Any NE tribe member who has ideas about places to go is encouraged to contact us with them; John Dunning n8962p@jrd.org, Bill Harris bill@motioncontrol.org
All in all a successful event. Many thanks to Mark for organizing it!
